Tokyo Motor Show: a Fully Electric Car

Recently,
Lexus released the conceptual design for the electric vehicle "LF-30
Electrified" at the Tokyo Motor Show on Wednesday, and Lexus announced
that it will strive to offer a variety of options for all models by
2025. Let the sales share of such cars exceed the gasoline car.
Yoshihiro Sawa, president of Lexus International, said that it plans to
officially launch the first fully electric vehicle in 2020. This will be
the first time Toyota has introduced a full-size and battery-powered
car. He said: "We will give priority to products in China, North America
and other regions where demand for electric vehicles is high." The
brand will announce the details of the vehicle next month.

At
the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show, Lexus released the first electric concept
car LF-30. The new car has a very original design and is equipped with a
four-wheel drive system. The car will be officially launched in 2020.
The design of the LF-30 represents the design direction of the Lexus
electrified model for the next decade. Lexus transforms the unique
energy of the LF-30 into a visual design. The energy generated by the
four wheels is concentrated into the cockpit and transmitted to the road
by the driver. The grid of the Lexus logo is essential. At the same
time, the car's accessories interact with other functional elements to
enhance the car's aerodynamic and disperse performance.

According
to the official statement, the interior part of the LF-30 relies on the
new "Tazuna" concept. The multi-function button on the steering wheel
is matched with the display on the head for easy navigation, sound
system and driving mode selection. In addition, LF-30 adopts interaction
interface design, including AR driving information display and gesture
control interface.

The
seat layout of the LF-30 is based on the design of the first class seat
of the aircraft. The control screen on the passenger seat enhances the
comfort and convenience of the car. The rear seats are automatically
adjusted to the size and weight of the passengers and support a variety
of work modes, including lying, relaxing and reminding. The LF-30 is
equipped with the Mark Levinson ® premium sound system. The headrest is
equipped with a speaker and a noise reduction function is added to the
car.

In
terms of power, the LF-30 has a battery pack capacity of 110 kWh and a
WLTP cruising range of 500 km. Speed from 0 to 100 km / hour is 3.8
seconds, the maximum speed is 200 km/h, the maximum power of the motor
is 400 kW, and the maximum torque is 700 Nm. According to the official
introduction, Lexus will launch first hybrid car in the next three to
five years, and will also launch a new exclusive platform for electric
vehicles. It is expected that by 2025, all vehicles in Lexus will be
available in an electrified version. Sales of electrified vehicles will
also surpass traditional power vehicles.
